Focused on Youth Leaders

We aim to form close relationships with the youth leaders from all the local Foursquare churches in order to train and guide them in their roles. Our aim is to equip them so that they are better able to efficiently serve their youth. We believe that by empowering the youth leaders to effectively fulfil their roles we are able to impact the youth themselves.

 

Discipleship

We have a number of discipleship programs working closely with young people, their leaders and emerging leaders. Our purpose is to ensure young people are rooted in the word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit in their everyday life. We want them to discover their God given potential and calling, whist developing and utilising their gifts and talents. We want each disciple to eventually disciple others.

 

Events to bring the youth together

We organise a number of events throughout the year in order to create a safe and practical space for the young people to meet, hangout and have some fun, all the time learning about God and the Christian life.

 

Regional Events

The regional events are usually in the Midlands or the South specifically catering for the locals in that area. We are also aiming to add a regional meeting the North. During these events there is time to worship, hear the Word and engage in relevant conversations.

 

Prayer & Intercession

It is essential for young people to come together in order pray and intercede on various issues concerning their peers, the city and this nation. There is a GB4Y prayer movement where committed intercessors meet monthly to pray on various topics. In addition, we have recently launched “One London” prayer event where young people come together to intercede for their city. Our goal is for this to turn into a national movement in every major region.

 

National Youth & Young Adults Conference

This is endearingly known as “Youth Camp” where once a year in the summer we organise a residential for the all the Foursquare young people and their youth leaders. This is a few days packed with fun and intensive learning. This annual event will be celebrating its 10th year in 2020.
